2023 Statewide Community Regrants offer up to $5,000 in funding for your community arts project idea. Application Deadline May 2023
The Statewide Community Regrants (SCR) program supports arts and cultural programming and the creation of new artworks in Erie, Niagara, and Chautauqua counties. It is administered yearly by ASI and funded by the New York State Council on the Arts.

NEW FOR 2023 – Applicants are no longer required to come up with a 50% match in income. Applicants can apply for 100% of their project’s cost up to the grant max. There are two grant deadlines in an effort to support even more applicants! The second application deadline is upcoming on May 26, 2023. Any nonprofit organization, government entity/municipality, tribal organization, or individual in Erie, Niagara, or Chautauqua counties is eligible to apply for up to $5,000 in funding.

Funding Categories
COMMUNITY ARTS GRANT
The Community Arts Grant provides financial and technical assistance for community-based arts activities that are presented by eligible nonprofit organizations and/or individual artists with community partners in Erie, Niagara, and Chautauqua counties.
Requests can be made between $500 and $5,000.

ARTS EDUCATION GRANT
The Arts Education Grant provides financial and technical assistance to eligible organizations and/or individual artists to support arts education projects in K-12 public schools, publicly funded charter schools, and after-school programs within Erie, Niagara, and Chautauqua counties.
Requests can be made between $500 and $5,000.

INDIVIDUAL ARTIST COMMISSION GRANT
The Individual Artist Commission Grant is intended to support the creation of a new work that engages the community through an artist’s creative process. Artists of all Eire, Niagara, and Chautauqua counties are eligible to apply for this grant for community-based projects. The goal of this grant is to support the creative work of individual artists, encourage interaction between artists and county residents, and highlight the role of the artist as a community resource.
Requests can be made between $1,000 and $2,500.
