Laura L. Wysocki

Laura always loved painting, and even though she tried other artistic pursuits, she  always came back to painting. Her current focus while realistic, is not a photographic rendition of the specific scene. She aims to capture the emotion in a landscape that enticed her to paint it; that certain feeling in her memory that I want to share with others. Laura wants to capture those charmed places that stay in your soul forever. She has learned to analyze and critique her work as well as understanding one’s own satisfaction can be short lived. Finally realizing that your best effort is there before you can revel in the joy of doing your own art is the real payoff. Along with such joy is the excitement that your next painting may be even better.
