He paints to evoke an emotional response from his viewer. Usually it’s for a laugh or a nostalgic thought. Jerold believes that half of what is applied on his canvases is random, but the other half is well planned out. He understands that a line, a color, a torn piece of paper needs to be relevant while being visually appealing and balanced.
