Coni’s work  unravels a society of great female minds and spirits. Humbly, she was inspired by the book “Girls Think of Everything” https://www.thriftbooks.com/a/catherine-thimmesh/224710/ she had discovered at the National Museum of Woman in the Arts located in Washington DC.  https://nmwa.org/  An accomplished contemporary realist painter, Coni combined her commercial illustration, design and an award-winning fine art painting for over thirty years. Her work is described as startlingly beautiful in whatever format she chooses, miniatures to her over scale panels, in oil to acrylic.

Her work is a result of many years of studying the Hudson River School, traditional Chiaroscuro techniques and surrealism fundamentals. You can see Coni’s regional landscapes of iconic Buffalo landmarks and the natural wonder of Niagara Falls in her Artist Portfolio https://riverartgalleryandgifts.com/artists/connie-minneci/ at River Art Gallery and Gifts, instore and online.
