Kathleen paints in watercolor and especially loves to paint flowers. Her husband’s interest in motorcycles opened a new perspective to her artwork, painting motorcycles and automobiles in addition to her cityscapes and tropical scenes. At a young age she became interested in drawing. A college art course introduced new techniques in all media which further inspired her numerous visits to Albright-Knox Art Gallery. She discovered the works of many of the old masters, favoring works by DaVinci and Rembrandt as pivotal on her path to a career in the arts.
